The Signing Ceremony between Dalian University of Technology and University of Plymouth were Successfully Held

On October 6th, the signing ceremony for the cooperation between Dalian University of Technology and University of Plymouth were held in Dalian, China.


At first, Professor. Ning Dezhi look back the cooperation between two universities and looking forward to conducting in-depth research and educational cooperation in the field of marine renewable energy, enhancing academic exchange and student mobility, and utilizing research and teaching advantages to cultivate and educate the next generation of international marine energy engineers.

Then Professor Lars Johanning, signed the agreement on behalf of University of Plymouth, Professor Ma Yuxiang, signed the agreement on behalf of University Dalian University of Technology.

DUT has built solid foundation for its further development with the accumulation of the efforts of generations of DUTers in seizing the great opportunity of building a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. In its history of development, the strategy of strengthening the university by attracting talents for discipline construction composed the epic of DUTers, so will DUT attract academics at home and abroad with its inclusiveness and have great achievements for the New Era with their joint efforts, echoing the causes of the Party and the State.

With strong emphasis on faculty team construction as well as original scientific research integrated with education, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering has cultivated quite a lot decent students and fellows who win various national and provincial awards and undertake different key fund projects. It is striving for constructing a high-level and research-type faculty.

They support and encourage collaborative activities, provide a first-class research environment for staff and students, and help to showcase the impact of our groundbreaking work to key audiences on a global stage.

The School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics has pledged and is an official Signatory of the Tomorrow's Engineers Code, a framework for organisations with a mission to increase the diversity and number of young people entering engineering careers.



The successful holding of this signing ceremony has played a good leading and promoting role in the implementation and promotion of cooperation and exchange between two universities, and has played a positive role in the disciplinary development, talent cultivation, and scientific research cooperation of the universities in the field of offshore energy.
