在中组部“千人计划”专家刘明生教授的带领下,大连理工大学于2016年成功申报了教育部直属高校外籍文教专家年度聘请计划(简称高校特色项目)。为促进大连理工大学建筑能源环境领域与国际一流高校之间的合作与交流,促进大工土木工程学科一流学科建设和发展,在高校特色项目的资助下,大连理工大学建筑能源系统智能化(Intelligentizing Building Energy System, iBES)学术活动周将于2017723-31日在大连举行。期间,来自美国宾州州立大学的William Parry Bahnfleth教授,亚利桑那州立大学的Agami Reddy教授,科罗拉多大学博德分校的Moncef Krarti教授,代顿大学的John Kelly Kissock教授等四位建筑能源环境领域国际知名专家将相聚大工,围绕着建筑能源环境智能化领域的人才培养、科学研究、学科建设和平台建设等主题开展为期一周的交流与合作。

Dalian University of Technology (DUT) had successfully applied the program of annual employment plan of foreign experts working at the universities led by the Ministry of Education in 2016 under the guidance of Prof. Mingsheng Liu who is a State “Thousand Talents Plan” distinguished expert. In order to promote the exchange and cooperation in Building Energy and Environment between DUT and worldwide Top universities, and stimulating the development of Civil Engineering at DUT, an Academic Week “Intelligentizing Building Energy System, iBES” organized by Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, DUT will be held at Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, 23-31 July, 2017. Some distinguished experts, e.g. Prof. William Parry Bahnfleth in The Pennsylvania State University, Prof. Agami Reddy in Arizona State University, Prof. Moncef Krarti in University of Colorado Boulder and Prof. John Kelly Kissock in University of Dayton, will be attendance at the academic week and facilitate the exchange and cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, discipline construction, etc. around Intelligent Building Energy and Environment system areas.

在学校研究生院和建设工程学部的支持下,大工暖通空调学科充分利用学校小学期不断推进研究生教学模式改革。本次学术活动周,由刘明生教授担任主讲教师的研究生课程《暖通空调系统性能诊断与优化控制》(课程编号:2030241433)邀请了上述四位专家进行联合授课。William Parry Bahnfleth教授将围绕建筑室内环境讲授4次研究生课,Agami Reddy教授将围绕建筑能源系统设备建模与应用讲授7次研究生课,Moncef Krarti教授将围绕建筑能效诊断与能源审计讲授4次研究生课,John Kelly Kissock教授将围绕工业建筑节能控制讲授4次研究生课。研究生们不仅有机会及时学习了解国际最新学术进展,而且可以领略国际一流大师的风采。欢迎建筑与土木工程领域及相关领域的广大师生前来参加本次学术活动周。

Academic week will be divided into two parts: Forum (24~25 July, 2017) and Special lectures (26~31 July, 2017). Toward the graduated course HVAC system performance diagnosis and optimal control, invited Professors will give us several courses on areas of building Environment, modeling and application of building energy equipment, energy efficiency diagnosis and audit, industrial building efficient control. Following is the agenda for the Academic Week and introduction of invited professors. Welcome the researchers and students who is relevant to Building and Civil Engineering to participate in the academic week.

Dr. Bahnfleth is a Professor of Department of Architectural Engineering and Director of Indoor Environment Center at The Pennsylvania State University. He was the president of ASHRAE during 2013-2014. Dr. Bahnfleth has published more than 100 international journal papers. His research areas focus on building energy efficiency improvements and his research interests cover central heating and refrigeration, indoor air quality, regional energy, renewable energy technology and application, low temperature heat storage, heat and power cogeneration, etc.

He is former Chair of the ASME Solar Energy Division and former vice director of ASME Journal of Solar Energy Engineering. Dr. Krarti is a Professor, Professional Engineer and LEED-AP of College of Engineering and Applied Science, department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, and head of energy management center, University of Colorado at Boulder. He has extensive experience in the application of renewable energy technologies to architectural and building energy consumption evaluation. He also has a wealth of experience in promoting the development of building energy efficiency technologies. He has carried out energy audits of more than 1,000 residential buildings, commercial buildings and industrial buildings. And he has published the Energy Audit Guidelines for Building Systems, which are widely used in the training of building energy auditing techniques. He also has published more than 200 papers. His research areas include building energy system simulation, tunnel ventilation, ice storage system, HVAC system optimization control, indoor air quality, etc.

Dr. Kissock is a Professor and Chair of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Director of the Renewable and Clean Energy program at the University of Dayton. He is also Director of the University of Dayton Industrial Assessment Center, vice director of ASME Journal of Solar Energy Engineering and chairman of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers' Building Energy Efficiency Technical Committee. He has been a research engineer at the Center for Air Pollution Impact and Trend Analysis at Washington University, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis in Vienna, Austria, Energy Systems Laboratory at Texas A&M University and the Center for Energy and Environmental Studies at Princeton University. Dr. Kissock works in the fields of building, industrial and renewable energy systems. He has published more than 80 journal papers. His research areas include building energy systems, energy consumption data analysis, industrial energy systems, renewable energy use, etc.
