On April 11, 2023, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering held a collaborative seminar with Cardiff University through an online conference. About 20 representatives from the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, International Office, School of International Education of Dalian University of Technology and School of Engineering of Cardiff Univeristy participated in this seminar.

The seminar mainly focused on various possible collaboration plans. Two sides decided to collaborate better and more closely in terms of student mobility programs and staff collaboration in the future.

DUT has built solid foundation for its further development with the accumulation of the efforts of generations of DUTers in seizing the great opportunity of building a world-class university with Chinese characteristics. In its history of development, the strategy of strengthening the university by attracting talents for discipline construction composed the epic of DUTers, so will DUT attract academics at home and abroad with its inclusiveness and have great achievements for the New Era with their joint efforts, echoing the causes of the Party and the State.

With strong emphasis on faculty team construction as well as original scientific research integrated with education, Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering has cultivated quite a lot decent students and fellows who win various national and provincial awards and undertake different key fund projects. It is striving for constructing a high-level and research-type faculty.
